The Quran & Nahj al-Balagha Foundation was established in the holy city of Qom, Iran, in 2001, through the cooperation of a group of distinguished Qur’anic scholars, teachers, and experts in Qur’an memorization and recitation. The Foundation operates under the supervision of Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Rezazadeh Juybari, the father of Dr. Ali Rezazadeh Juybari, who is a distinguished memorizer of the entire Holy Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha.

Today, the Foundation has established branches and representatives in several cities across Iran.

Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Rezazadeh Juybari, the Director of the Foundation, is the author of the book series The Illuminated Path, which includes an explanatory commentary on 110 selected wisdoms from Nahj al-Balagha.

He has also served as a judge in the Nahj al-Balagha Studies and Interpretation section of Iran’s National Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha Competitions organized by the Iranian Endowment and Charity Affairs Organization.

Dr. Ali Rezazadeh Juybari, the son of Sheikh Mohammad Rezazadeh Juybari and a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, holds a Ph.D. in Qur’anic Sciences and Hadith from the University of Tehran. He has also received numerous prestigious international awards in the field of Holy Qur’an memorization.

Main Activities of the Foundation

The Foundation’s primary mission is to promote the teachings, memorization, and understanding of the Holy Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha through a variety of educational programs, including:

Distance Learning and Online Memorization Programs

The Foundation offers distance-learning and online courses for memorizing both the Holy Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha.

Through these educational activities, thousands of learners from different regions of Iran have successfully memorized the Qur’an. The Foundation has also played a pioneering role in promoting the memorization of Nahj al-Balagha on a national scale.

Master’s Degree Preparation Courses

The Foundation organizes specialized preparatory courses for entrance examinations to Master’s programs in Qur’anic Sciences and Hadith.

These courses are offered in several formats:

• In-person classes in Qom
• Intensive multi-day courses for students traveling from other cities
• Comprehensive exam review programs
• Online live courses
• Offline recorded courses

To support students, the Foundation has also produced thirteen textbooks and study guides specifically designed for Master’s entrance examinations.

Participants in these preparatory programs have achieved dozens of top national rankings in recent years and have been admitted to Iran’s leading universities in the field of Qur’anic Sciences and Hadith.

National Nahj al-Balagha Competitions

One of the Foundation’s most significant achievements has been organizing the National Nahj al-Balagha Memorization and Concepts Competitions, widely known as The Illuminated Path Competitions.

Over the years, the Foundation has successfully organized seven national competitions, helping to spread the teachings and wisdom of Imam Ali (A.S.) among Iranian families.

Previous competitions included six specialized categories:

• Memorization of the complete text of Nahj al-Balagha
• Memorization of all sermons
• Memorization of all letters
• Memorization of all sayings (wisdoms)
• Memorization of the first 110 sermons
• Memorization of the complete Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah

The Foundation has also planned future international competitions dedicated to the concepts of Nahj al-Balagha in Arabic, English, Persian, and Urdu, with the support of sponsors and benefactors devoted to the teachings of Imam Ali (A.S.).

Virtual School of Qur’anic Recitation

For many years, the Quran & Nahj al-Balagha Foundation has remained at the forefront of innovative Qur’anic education throughout Iran.

One of its major initiatives is the Virtual School of Qur’anic Recitation, which provides comprehensive online and distance education for Qur’an learners.

The school’s educational system is distinguished not only by its online communication with students but also by its carefully designed curriculum, enabling learners to master Qur’anic sciences more efficiently and effectively.
