A Letter of Imam Ali (A.S.) to the People After the Victory of Basra
After the victory at Basra, Imam Ali (A.S.) wrote to its people:
“May Allah reward you, the people of this city, on behalf of the Household of your Prophet with the finest reward that He grants to those who obey Him and those who are grateful for His blessings.
You listened and obeyed, and when you were called, you responded.”
About This Letter
This letter was written by Imam Ali (A.S.) following the victory in the Battle of the Camel (Basra). In it, he expresses his gratitude and appreciation to those who remained loyal to the truth and supported the cause of justice.
The Imam prays that Allah grants them the greatest reward reserved for those who faithfully obey His commands and show gratitude for His countless blessings.
