Hope Is a Blessing\u2014When It Is Balanced<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1092\">Hope and aspiration are <strong data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1048\">not inherently blameworthy<\/strong>. In fact, they are among Allah&#8217;s blessings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1189\">The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is reported to have said:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1324\">\n<p data-start=\"1193\" data-end=\"1324\"><strong data-start=\"1193\" data-end=\"1324\">&#8220;Hope is a mercy from Allah for my community. Without hope, no mother would nurse her child, and no farmer would plant a tree.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1351\">Hope motivates people to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1447\">\n<li data-section-id=\"mvo9p4\" data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1365\">Work hard.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1ss1vnk\" data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1383\">Build families.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1cpxdzg\" data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1401\">Seek knowledge.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"hr9mn6\" data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1420\">Improve society.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"8am9fg\" data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1447\">Pursue meaningful goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1572\">However, hope becomes harmful when it turns into unrealistic fantasies or endless worldly ambitions that consume the heart.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1695\">Such excessive attachment distracts a person from remembering Allah, preparing for death, and striving for the Hereafter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1697\" data-end=\"1736\">Imam Ali (peace be upon him) also said:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1800\">\n<p data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1800\"><strong data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1800\">&#8220;Whoever prolongs his worldly hopes corrupts his deeds.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"1934\">People driven by limitless ambitions often replace one desire with another, never reaching satisfaction before death overtakes them.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1936\" data-end=\"1939\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"19bjy3o\" data-start=\"1941\" data-end=\"1978\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1945\" data-end=\"1978\">2.
