Wisdom 23: Expiation for Major Sins<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said:<\/p>\n

“Among the expiations for major sins are helping the distressed and relieving the suffering of those in grief.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“O Allah, forgive me the sins that bring down afflictions; forgive me the sins that change blessings; forgive me the sins that prevent prayers from being answered; forgive me the sins that bring calamities.”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In this wisdom, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) identifies two noble deeds<\/strong> that serve as means of expiation for major sins:<\/p>\n
