In a lot of Qur’anic travels Ali and his honorable father had to different places in the country, lovers of Qur’an were always asking Ali’s father to establish a Qur’anic institute that could serve the public through a correct and practical methods of memorization (especially Ali’s method).
Although establishing an institute in the present time leads to a lot of financial problems, but Hujjatul-Islam Reza-Zada relied on God and established ‘Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha Institute’ in order to fulfill his duty toward the Islamic public.
After establishing this house of Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha in the city of Qom, by the help of God, branches of the institute in Babul, Khalkhal and Tehran were opened too. And rapidly, with accurate planning and arrangement, teaching the lovers of Qur’an was commenced. Separate classes were considered for boys, girls, men and women so that Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha be taught and memorized together.
In addition, other attractive projects were considered for students even along with school time, which was welcomed by students from various grades. The institute has considered general and specialized Qur’anic teaching, including reading from the Qur’an, correct recitation, art of reciting, memorization, translation and interpretation, and, by the grace of God, we have had good results through the help of eminent professors in these areas.
What has made the courses of ‘Qur’an and Nahj al-Balagha Institute’ more interesting is using educational aids, having touring-and-shrine-visiting camps and meeting with heroes of the Qur’anic field.
But unfortunately, this institute faced financial problems from its first day, and it was not appropriately supported, to the extent that the institute is educating the student of Qur’an in a rental building and half of the useful time of the manager is wasted on controlling costs and payments, instead of teaching and taking care of the students. The little tuition the students pay at the beginning of the course absolutely cannot cover all the teaching hours of the course, and the rest of the costs should be obtained from another source.
Those concerned about Qur’an and the Prophet household should know that if they are looking forward to a Qur’anic society they should pay the expense of reaching that, as it is the case in the huge expenses paid for sports, films etc. and their heroes.
Spending for Qur’nic institutions and considering the memorizers and reciters of the Qur’an, and also supporting them with sufficient and appropriate publicity, are in fact considering the Qur’an and the Qur’anic activities in the society. (20)

The grand leader of the revolution states:
‘When Qur’an enters the society, the presence of Qur’an is going to leave its own sweet flavor. Today Qur’an is dominant in our country. The first step is learning the text of the Qur’an. This must be increased day by day. If we want all to learn Qur’an, few people have to be up there on the top, as it is in anything else. As it is when you want to publicize sports, you have to have few heroes always up there in front of people. (21)
