HIS ABILITIES
Ali Reza-Zada Jouybari was able to memorize Qur’an, some of the Prophet sayings and Nahj al-Balagha as best as possible. His ability to reply questions addressed to him in Qur’anic gatherings proves that.
In one of the Qur’nic gatherings Ali attended, it was planned that the presenter just tell the number of the page on Qur’an, so that Ali, who was on the stage, would recite by heart the first verse on that page, and meanwhile, one of the attendants would do that by reading through a copy of the Qur’an in his hand. The presenter said six numbers, and each time Ali was the first to recite the opening verse on that page, preceding the person who had the Holy Qur’an in his hand, and that was in front of thousands of audiences.
It is seems to be that the Qur’an is in front of this Qur’anic blossom, and from anywhere you may ask him he can immediately answer you.
For instance, if somebody recites the beginning of a verse or even few words of any verse for him, this significant memorizer can provide the following information before going on to recite the next verses:
The name of the chapter that contains this verse
The number of the chapter
Where it was revealed, in Mecca or Medina
The number of the verse
The number of the page that contains this verse
And also he can tell you the contents of that page, from verse so and so the verse so and so
In addition, any topic you may mention from the Qur’an, he is able to recite the verses that concern this topic at once.
Even in huge Qur’anic gatherings in front of thousands of audiences, no mistake has ever been seen in his recitation. In another words, his memorization is incomparably correct. He recites the words of God in pure Arabic, and tells the number of the verse, chapter, page, etc. in Arabic too in the gatherings he attends in Arabic countries, and that what surprises Arabic speakers, as no body would expect from an un-Arabic child to be so fluent in his replies.
